According to John Wenham, Japhet Tanganga from Tottenham is a target for Ipswich Town to sign. The legitimate Spurs podcast host Lilywhite Rose thinks the center-back may be eager to return to the Premier League.

Tanganga played for Millwall in the Championship during the second half of the season. According to reports, the Lions and Spurs have reached an agreement for the Englishman to join them permanently (via Fabrizio Romano, May 12).

But Wenham, in an exclusive conversation with Tottenham News, hinted at a potential curveball from Ipswich Town in Japhet Tanganga’s transfer decision.

Speaking about Ipswich’s interest, Wenham stated, “I did see there was some talk about Ipswich potentially wanting him.”

Despite Tanganga’s successful loan stint at Millwall, where he showcased his abilities, his sentimental attachment to the club might not be the sole determinant. The allure of a return to regular Premier League action could strongly influence his decision-making process.

Considering Ipswich Town’s hypothetical offer for the 25-year-old, it’s challenging to envision him rejecting such an opportunity, indicating a potential shift in his career trajectory.
