Fans of Wolves are anticipating great things from the team this summer, and many will enjoy the manager Gary O’Neil’s recent humorous Instagram post.
With just one victory in their previous ten league games, Wolves finished with 49 points, their third-lowest total since joining the Premier League. The team was severely handicapped by injuries, and Wolves lost a number of judgments as well.
With a little whine, the season came to a close, and it seemed like many disgruntled viewers were relieved it finished when it did. A lot of work will be done this summer to assemble the team, with Gary O’Neil hoping to improve upon things for the next campaign.
And although though the 2023–2024 season has just completed, it appears that the management is already getting started. Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is a total workaholic, as evidenced by his amazing new Instagram photo.
Although the season just ended showed a lot of promise, O’Neil now has to be equipped with the right resources to lead this team to new heights.
A lot of fans don’t hold out much hope that Fosun will back O’Neil in a big way, since they and Jeff Shi seem more concerned with raising season ticket prices.
However, perhaps this season, manager and sporting director Matt Hobbs can work their magic and assemble the team as best they can. O’Neil will undoubtedly put in a ton of effort to make it happen. If there is one thing that has been abundantly evident since he started working at Molineux, it is his amazing work ethic.
This was demonstrated once more this past weekend when he shared an incredible post on Instagram. O’Neil’s post has been positively received by the fans, demonstrating his genuine concern for the Wolves project.
O’Neil has always had an excellent work ethic. It’s comforting to know that Matt Hobbs has previously talked about how meticulous and detail-oriented he is.
Last year, Ian Burchnall, one of the coaches, made the suggestion that O’Neil hardly ever sleeps, claiming that even after Wolves have won, he occasionally texts his staff in the middle of the night to inquire about the next opponent.
Gary O’Neil has proven that he is someone to support this summer with his performance this season and the one he just oversaw at the Wolves. He has the ability to significantly enhance Wolves and get this squad back into the running for European football.
But whether he gets that backing remains to be seen.
At the moment, a lot of fans are upset with Fosun because they believe the owners are not making the necessary investments in the team. To be honest, they ought to be funding transfers themselves rather than depending only on player purchases and earnings.
