West Brom will have a busy summer. After missing out on promotion to the Premier League and considering a fourth consecutive season in the Championship, they have let go of 14 players and extended contracts to 11 more.
Senior pros Yann M’Vila, Matt Phillips, Erik Pieters, Adam Reach, Nathaniel Chalobah, and Martin Kelly are among those who have said goodbye to the club. Jamie Andrews and Aaron Harper-Bailey are among the young people leaving the academy that are on this list.
Mikey Johnston, Andreas Weimann, Callum Marshall and Pipa have returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loan spells, while the likes of Karlan Grant, Mo Faal and Caleb Taylor return from their loans.

As things stand, Grady Diangana is contracted to the team until 2025, while Darnell Furlong and Conor Townsend, two full backs, have one year left on their contracts. While Jayson Molumby made his loan switch permanent but missed the second half of this season due to injury, Semi Ajayi extended his contract in the summer of 2022 but has failed to regain his spot in the starting XI.
In the summer of 2022, John Swift became the first new face at the club after Molumby, who joined as one of Albion’s permanent additions. After leaving Reading, he signed a three-year contract on a free transfer. Other summer newcomers Alright, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Okay Yokuslu signed three-year contracts as well as one of those years left when they arrived.
