Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the Eagles’ 2024 schedule –

The Eagles don’t play any opponents coming off their bye week in 2024. […] Remember “The Gauntlet” last season, when the Eagles had to play, in order, the Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, Cowboys, and Seahawks? Well, no such “Gauntlet” exists this year. The closest thing is the two-game road stretch against the Rams and the Ravens in Weeks 12 and 13.

Eagles schedule analysis: Win-loss record predictions for 2024 games

The Eagles seem to have too much quality to not be a competitive football team. Vic Fangio and Kellen Moore should be added. I have no doubt that Jalen Hurts will improve from 2023 onward. One of the possible risks is regressing in the trenches. With Jason Kelce gone, the offensive line might not be the best. With Haason Reddick gone, the pass rush might be less effective.

All things considered, though, I appreciate how the Eagles’ schedule is set up. Although the early bye week isn’t ideal, the Eagles do benefit from not having to travel beyond Week 12. Additionally, they have four of the next five games at home, setting them up for a successful postseason run.

The upcoming Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles game in São Paulo, Brazil, marks the NFL’s first venture into Brazil and promises to be an electrifying start to the season. Both teams, expected to be strong contenders in the NFC playoffs, will be vying for an early tone-setting victory.

With rising star Jordan Love leading the Packers’ offense, bolstered by the addition of Josh Jacobs, they present a diverse and formidable challenge for the Eagles’ defense. On the flip side, the Eagles, now featuring Saquon Barkley, possess immense talent but have been known to underperform at times. This matchup is poised to be a fiercely contested and captivating game that football fans won’t want to miss.

Dallas Cowboys 2024 NFL schedule release: Dates, times, primetime games and more

Dallas Cowboys head coach 2024

It’s quite strange and unusual to play on a Thursday night so early in the season. Actually, this has never occurred since Thursday Night Football first began in 2006. While it’s good to have one out of the way, Dallas hadn’t had to play a road Thursday game until 2022, when they took on the Tennessee Titans.

Amazon obviously wants to get their money’s worth because they paid a lot of money for the TNF package. The Cowboys’ season will now consist of two distinct halves, with Thursday games interspersed between them.

In a way-too-early prediction for the Giants’ 2024 season, the Big Blue View suggests that they will finish with a record of 8-9. This prediction includes a Week 18 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, where the Eagles’ strong defense, particularly their rookie cornerbacks and pass rush, prove challenging for the Giants’ passing offense. Saquon Barkley manages to score two touchdowns, but it’s not enough to secure a win.

As for the Washington Commanders, they start the 2024 season as 3.5-point road underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Commanders have an over/under of 6.5 wins for the season, indicating a potential improvement over the previous year. Much will hinge on the performance of rookie QB Jayden Daniels and the team’s ability to support him during his transition to the NFL.
