The world longest scarf

The world’s longest football club scarf has been crafted, adorned with the crests of 74 teams from various regions. This 100-meter-long scarf proudly displays badges from EFL teams, including Reading, as well as clubs from the Scottish Premiership.

It is the result of more than 500 combined hours spent on design, knitting, and sewing with each club element hand-sewn by a team of specialists in Manchester.

Former professional players, such as Jermaine Beckford and Michael Dawson, gathered at Birmingham City’s stadium, St. Andrews @ Knighthead Park, along with children from local schools, to showcase this football merchandise.

Michael Dawson, former Hull City and England defender, expressed, “Football camps during school breaks were the most enjoyable for me, just kicking the ball around with friends. The EFL’s advantage lies in being part of diverse communities nationwide. Having Kellogg’s on board this summer to provide many kids with the same opportunity I had when I was younger is truly exciting.”

It comes after research found 59 per cent of parents struggle to entertain their children throughout the school summer holidays.

While 86 per cent want their child to experience less screen time during the break.

A similar portion also believes that team sports are crucial for acquiring essential life skills.

Kellanova, the parent company of Kellogg’s, is offering 30,000 free spots for the camps before this summer’s start.

Chris Silcock, the managing director, stated, “Led by FA qualified coaches, the camps are designed to be enjoyable and provide girls and boys the chance to step onto the field and emulate their football idols.”
